Finance to Fashion: Interview with Anna van Praagh

During my time in the City I was always in awe of the amazing women who told their stories of making a complete 180 degree in their careers, deciding to follow their dreams and go on to set up their own businesses. Their journey's were intriguing, full of inspiration and determination. At the time, little did I know that I would eventually follow in their footsteps, go for it myself and set up my own sustainable fashion luxury womenswear label. If it wasn't for these amazing women sharing their own stories and giving me the courage to take the plunge myself, running my own fashion label would still be a pipe dream today. As in the famous words of Madeleine Albright, 'there is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women', I am a strong believer of sharing my story, experiences (good and bad) and where possible offering insights to all the women who may be in the position I was in over two years ago in the hope that it inspires, helps and gives them the courage to take that leap of faith they have been dreaming of taking. The opportunity to be able to share my journey with others is a privilege so when asked if I wanted to do a talk at The Ned with the talented Anna van Praagh, Deputy Editor of ES Magazine the decision was an easy one. This is my story.....
